It has been a unprecendented 12 months for the hospitality industry, induring lockdowns and restrictions, which has had a detrimental affect financially and emotionally.
Since the first lockdown, The Station has continued to open for takeaway and deliveries, and also converted part of outbuildings into a deli, which provided essentials and specialist products.
We also provided meals to the vulnerable, hospital staff & families which were struggling financially. We continue to drop off food to a food bank in Redhill(OPEN HANDS),we have been doing this ever since the first lockdown. Thanks to some lovely and considerate locals dropping off non perishable foods, and fresh food that our chefs used to cook meals, which also goes towards the food bank.We relentlessly continue to provide the vulnerable with meals & essentials while simutaneously running the business.
We have made huge improvements to the outside, by converting the small front parking bay into a decked dining area, plus covered booth seating in Dukes yard. This has all been done to accomadate for outside dining for our customers.
As we all agree the lack of social interaction, face coverings, and restrictions on our normal way of life, has been extreemly stressful, emotionally draining and frustrating,we at The Station would like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal & new customers for their consideration, patience and support throughout this pandemic.
The Station will endeavour to provide excellent service, we might not get it right all the time, but we are trying, and we appreciate your support and positivity.
